Many-body physics and quantum simulations

Shannon Whitlock and Johannes Schachenmayer (ISIS)

Quantum simulations using cold neutral atoms, ions, polar molecules, superconducting
circuits and electrons in semiconductors have opened new research directions for the
precise investigation of static and dynamical properties of quantum manybody systems.
This course aims at providing basic theoretical ideas and techniques that underlie state
oftheart quantum simulation experiments in the fields of quantum manybody physics
with a focus on research conducted across the EUCOR campus.
