Many-body physics and quantum simulations
Johannes Schachenmayer (CESQ) & Tom Bienaimé (CESQ)
Quantum simulations using cold neutral atoms, ions, polar molecules, superconducting
circuits and electrons in semiconductors have opened new research directions for the
precise investigation of static and dynamical properties of quantum many–body systems.
This course aims at providing basic theoretical ideas and techniques that underlie state–
of–the–art quantum simulation experiments in the fields of quantum many–body physics
with a focus on research conducted across the EUCOR campus.
