Requirements
- Required level :
- You are a L3 student (or equivalent), you can apply to the M1;
- You are a M1 student (or equivalent), you can apply directly for an M2 specialization.
- Training duration : 2 years (M1 and M2).

Application online for European students and students who do not need a visa to study in France: https://ecandidat.unistra.fr
International students who require a visa must apply through the Etudes en France portal. More details, including the list of countries concerned by this procedure are available on the Campus France portal. To find the PhyQS track on the Etudes en France portal, click on the « Looking for a training course » tab, indicate « Master Physics Strasbourg » in the search menu and then select « Physics of Quantum and Soft Condensed Matter ».
Graduate School QMat (Interdisciplinary Thematic Institute)
Master of Physics students can join our graduate school on Quantum Materials (EUR QMat). In this context, they have the opportunity to get a scholarship (more details here) and benefit from several networking opportunities. Please note that to join QMat, you must also register at the University of Strasbourg. As indicated above, depending on your situation, the application must be done either through Etudes en France or through ecandidat.
Graduate School HiFunMat (Interdisciplinary Thematic Institute)
Master of Physics students can join our graduate school on Hierarchical and Functional Materials (EUR HiFunMat). In this context, they have the opportunity to get a scholarship (more details here). Please note that to join HiFunMat, you must also register at the University of Strasbourg. As indicated above, depending on your situation, the application must be done either through Etudes en France or through ecandidat.
