Azeline Hilaire (PhD ICS, Strasbourg)

The PhyQS Master provided me with a solid foundation in quantum mechanics and statistical physics, while also offering the flexibility to progressively orient my studies toward soft matter physics thanks to its wide range of elective courses. This flexibility allowed me to discover areas of physics that I had not had the opportunity to explore during my earlier years of study.

The program also serves as an excellent gateway to research. Courses held at IPCMS, as well as a one week-long laboratory project and a research internship, ensure a gradual and natural immersion into the research environment.

Finally, what truly sets this master program apart is the teaching team. The professors are highly available, attentive, and deeply passionate about their fields. Overall, the PhyQS master provided me with a strong theoretical background and a unique opportunity to pursue my studies in physics, particularly in soft matter physics.
